It's 30 for a reason everyone, not 35, not 40, not 50. In fact, if this was at 40, how fast do you think the car would be traveling where he hit the boy? 30mph. If you do 40 in a 30 zone you could still be breaking the speed limit when you hit that boy you could have so easily avoided.

Stick to the speed limit or be prepared to face more than just a fine and 6 points on your licence.
