Hi...Im glad Im not the only one that has a kia spectra...I was hoping you could tell me how to remove the trim around the stereo without breaking anything...I really like the button and LEDS...I need to do the stereo install and Im worried I wont have the right tool and break the trim...Any chance you can give me some pointers on what to take off first and basically walk me through...I would really appreciate the help in a major way...Please Please Help!...Thanks

@UltimatePrecisionGuy well the piece around the stereo is all one piece it just pulls off theirs just clips holding it on you can pry aroun the left and right side to help make it easier just be carefull not to scratch you dash i did lol their were 2 clips on each side holding it in place and then just the wire connectors on the backside after its popped off and thats it

is that the lx? cause i got an o4 has the same interior, it has the 2.0 with o5 head and cai, 3in exaust with 18in rims, blue led inside and out ohh yea and 5spd.. =] KIA MOTORS THE POWER TO SUPRIZE

It's basically a Toyota with a Ford door chime and interior, which makes for an otherwise great car.

Toyota is just as good as Honda, and so is Kia.

I have an 02 Kia Spectra GSX. It has a custom interior and body kit that I built myself, as well as push button ignition. The engine is pretty much stock, it's hard to find parts for kias. I know you can put a 02 tiburon super charger in a 02 spectra.

@UltimatePrecisionGuy there should be some screws up by the gauges you'll need to take em out before prying it off.

I like my kia decent mpg, its not the fastest out there, but it gets you to point b without problems. So its not a mustang gt, you get what you pay for.
