"You up still?" "Yeah, Bel. What's wrong?" Kevin asked. "I'm just bored." I replied. It was midnight. "No, you're here to spy on Nick." He shot back. "So what if I am? It's not like you mind." I said. "Well, it IS a little weird that you are like, in love with my baby brother." Kevin said. "I thought Frankie was the baby!" I joked. "He is, but you know what I mean, even though I'm 17, and you and Nick are 13, it's still weird, but I still can't get over how you and me clicked so fast." He said. "That's because Nick took one look at me, then ran upstairs, Joe right on his heels." I said. "I thought they didn't like me, so remember how you walked upstairs that night, and saw me crying in my room? You came over, and I told you what was wrong, and you went over and talked to them?" "Yeah, I remember it all like it was yesterday." He said. "But I'm glad it all happened like that." "Yeah, me too." I said and hugged him. No, I'm not dating this "Kevin". He's my best friend. He's Kevin Jonas. Yes, he's THE Kevin Jonas, lead guitarist of the Jonas Brothers. Part of the story I'm going to tell you starts before they hit it big. Right now, they are going to embark on a tour of schools, starting next week. It's the last week of summer vacation. I bet you're wondering who I am. My name is Annabel Lucas, and I go by Bel for short. Him and I are best friends, even though there's a 5-year age difference. Nick Jonas, his younger brother, is actually my age. I'm in love with him. I'm usually too afriad to talk to him. I mean, we may only be 13, but there's something about him, that just makes me afraid to talk to him. Occasionally, I can, but most times, Kevin's out translator. But I still love him though. I moved here when Nick and I were 10. We both live in Wyckoff, New Jersey. I moved here from a small town in Pennsylvania. I love living next door to my best friend, because I can go to him for just about anything. It's been two years since I moved here, and I've watched Kevin, Joe, and Nick grow as artists. It's amazing to see, and now I get to go on a tour of schools with them.
