Hockey fight, brawl on ice

Liepaja vs Ogre 10:4.
Latvian hockey championship game. Fifth game in the final in Liepaja. Result before 4 games 2:2.
In first games was normal hockey, but in the fifth... nerves of player from Ogre yield. In first 4 game referees judged a little bit better for Liepaja. Liepaja played dirty. Ogre was not angels too. But in this game, after some "fans" of Liepaja pour bear on Ogres coach, measure was full. Ogre went to dressing room and returned after some 20minutes. But then brawl started.

А что, разве у Латвии есть свой чемпионат по хоккею? Я думал просто рижане в КХЛ играют и всё. И как-же они тогда свой чемп пропускают?

few years ago we had a good championship, when there played "Riga 2000", "Ogre", "Liepaja", "Latgale", Lithuanian club "Energia" and other clubs. Fight for the gold was very sharp . But last 2-3 years... crisis. Low level of championship. Dinamo. Riga factor. Some 2 years ago in Latvia championship played Riga, and in playoffs some Dinamo players joined Riga. Dinamo Riga are not playing in Latvian championship.
