Han existido decenas de tenores que utilizan las mismas técnicas que Plácido Domingo y Rolando Villazón, todo depende del tipo de voz, no tanto de la capacidad de la técnica. Cabe destacar que la voz de tenor spinto está muy bien lograda por Plácido Domingo, pero es amplimente superada por Rolando Villazón. Además, Rolando domina a la perfección lo que es el dramatismo, sabe impregnar ese sentimiento necesario en el momento necesario, eso no es error de técnica.. se llama DRAMATISMO.

He's not singing this as if it where "heavy duty opera" he's just singing it with his voice. He shouldn't have to try to undersing, just so he can sound like a constipated germanic tenor and ruining his voice in the process. He's done enough of the Verdi/Mozart/Bizet/Händel oversing/undersing carrousel and it damaged his voice.

Rolando's voice is of a very rare quality...very beautiful indeed!
