Part 2 of 2
For beginners and maybe a reminder for the rest uf us;-) Getting to know the fretboard of the bass guitar using target notes and arpeggios. I use simple major and minor triads in the examples - root , third and fifth.

I now give online "One on one" electric bass lessons at:

  • I thank you greatly Marlowe, I have looked for more extensive theory on bass for a long time yet lessons that i took before did not prove to be beneficial theory wise, technically yes despite the fact that i had already advanced beyond the majority of the teacher before i got there, ( 3 years of attempting and mastering some progressive music and techniques) Now, I'm in 4 years and am looking for theory and feeling open to it, and you are opening it up to me, thank you so much.

  • @XanaduMyHome You are most welcome:)

  • Thanks for sharing your videos on here Marlowe. I enjoy watching them as Im sure everyone else does too. I have played for a long time but I dont know much theory. I play strictly by ear because I dont read music or even tabs. I play guitar also. I was wondering if you played guitar also?

  • @clewi1091 I can play a little bit of guitar yes

  • lol, its like watching in a mirror. Marlowe you are great.

  • I just wanted to thank you for freely sharing your knowledge. Most people today are selfish and self centered and don't realize were all in this journey together. Having played bass as my main instrument also drums and guitar since 1963,and with many people you would recognize few give freely expecting nothing back. We are the few. Thanks agian. Chuck Newcomb

  • @MarloweDK
