  • What is that Grey colored unit behind the keyboard that you're using to trigger the rhythm ?? Is it an Arpeggiator or a Drum Machine.....what Model ??

  • The grey colored unit is a very nice stepsequenser (MAM SQ-16)

  • the parameters you mentioned are controlled by CC. All the parameters can also be controlled by sysex. You need a sysex controller like the kenton spindoctor, controlfreak or for instance a controler from peavey

  • sweet. how do set it up to recognize th params, and what params will it recognize? I've always wanted to get a controller, but since thDW's are so old, i thought it wouldn't work properly

  • It wil recognize all the params. you need the virtual spindoctor program to load the file in the spindoctor. I made the file myself and i can send it if you need it.

  • what is that controller and will it work w/a DW8k?

  • The controller is a Kenton SpinDoctor and it also works on the DW-8000 (I own an 8000 and use it with the Kenton)

  • very nice demo!

  • love KORG filters! used to have the old poly800 reversed key colour model... cast me something like £15 to upgrade the chip so I could use in in something other than OMNI mode.... man! I miss that synth (too big no space to keep it in :-( )

  • how do you get that sound on 0:41? what kind of settings are those?

  • Great, realtime controlling all of the parameters. Thx for the video.

    Robin :o)

  • nice artwork

  • Maybe I should get one of these when I get my DW8000 working a bit better (needs some solder reflow in the display lines, key contacts cleaned and a new data slider).

  • This is really interesting, as I recently got a DW6000 and would like a little more real-time adjustment. One question: how did you get the DW6000 to accept MIDI signals for parameter changes? According to the manual, the synth only accepts MIDI signals for a very limited range of parameters, basically just note data, joystick functions, and on/off for portamento and sustain pedal.
