On the eve of Mumbais first anniversary of the November 2008 attacks, students and artists will band together to paint the town red, literally.
Taking a leaf out of the BMCs city beautification project, a group of NGOs in collaboration with the civic body will be paying a tribute to victims and heroes of the 26/11 tragedy in black, red and white paint. The group is still contemplating between two choices of venue one on Tulsi Pipe Road and the other at Queens Road in Marine Lines. Shaina NC of I Love Mumbai and Giants International said that the project would solve two purposes one of preventing people from defacing public property and of letting them make a tribute. Apart from the artists, there will also be a stretch where any common person can paint an expression of what they felt about the attacks, said Shaina.
