Ive got some question on search engine optimization so this video mainly goes for those who call themselves SEO GURUS! But others can check out and think on it too 

Search for fb on google and you get result as facebook! Question for all seo experts!
Recently i searched for the term fb on google and google gave me the top results as
Facebook.com and Twitter.com!


It was something desired BUT! after getting this result something struck my brain.

I went through www.facebook.com and found that it doesnt even contain a single FB in its content! then i thought maybe its got something to do with facebooks description meta tag.. so looked into the source for description meta tag and guess what, NO FB THERE EITHER! (facebook does not have a meta keyword tag and its not even considered by google so forget about that).


As far as i have seen, it seems google lists websites by looking into their content (and Metas) and matching them with users search keywords( and there are other ranking specifications.. ) but how is it that, though the term fb is not there on the facebooks page, www.facebook.com is on top for the keyword fb, does google put it manually?? any search engine optimization trick? so what is it?


I have websites abbreviating as fmp .. so if people searchfmp they would never reach my website!Then why partiality towards facebook? This way other sites loose their power to grow!
okay..keyword fb showing www.facebook.com is acceptable to some extent, BUT WHY TWITTER?? twitter has nothing to do with the keyword fb!Bloody hell the whole source-code of twitter doesnt have fb in it! some one PLEASE EXPLAIN!!

Twitter appear because it has an app for facebook called FB so yeah...(I totally just googled that)

seo is not about meta tags and descriptions although these do play in important part they are not the reason for high rankings. the reason they are so highly ranked even with the keyword fb is because of organic links from other sites where they reference facebook as say being fb, also regional slang plays a big part in seo.

it's because google and facebook have a relationship us normal people do not amount to.

We have to follow google rules. THEY dont.
