I had the pleasure to witness a Monarch Butterfly's emergence from it's chrysalis yesterday at the Beaver Creek Reserve in Fall Creek WI. The other Monarchs hanging there had emerged 15 minutes before and have completed pumping the veins in their wings with fluid from their abdomens. All of these lovely creatures will soon be fluttering around the Reserve's Butterfly House as ambassadors of nature. A beautiful project complimenting a beautiful facility.
