These 2 are the current standards for tenor and bass bone players.
It takes study, work, more study, a ton of practice, etc. Very unlike playing something that you plug into an amp and pluck or strum...

If you go to the edwards instruments website and click on jazz, then on artists, you can see what type of horn he has . It's an Edwards small bore. T302 . YouTube won't let me post the link...
