My dd is fascinated w/languages, dabbling in Russian, Icelandic, Bulgarian, Croatian, Spanish, Quecha and more. She'll write school notes in Russian, play Runescape on foreign websites to play w/others in their language, watch foreign tv shows, instructional videos, etc. I'm calling it Linguistics Study; we're writing down her sources, and she'll draw a language tree with branches showing origins. She still must fulfill foreign language credits, but this was what I did with her "hobby."
