No, this not true. Believe me, 'if' I launched 10-20 more times like this the clutch would definitely be hurting. Still driveable but limping
-
LOL, its not bulletproof though.

With AWD vics the torque is absorbed by the tranny and axles as opposed to RWD/FWD where the torque is absorbed by the tires burning out.
To launch AWD safely(if launching at all can be considered safe), you have to slip, but slip very fast. Its no too difficult to pick up, as this is only my third launch attempt in this video. I havent launched since..........

AP was using to tune, which was done by scott siegel. Great tuner. He stays conservative which is a must for daily drivers.
-
Are you using the Cobb AP for shifting?

I had to replace a axel on my STI before my clutch after dumping the clutch numerous times @5000+rpm, it was putting down 410RWHP and 430 lbs ft-TQ.
-
in all STi launches, it seems that you have to ride the clutch? I heard straight dumping it fucks up the diffs or some tranny component

14 people regret buying an evo.

Thanks, but race shifting is easy in my opinion. Smooth, daily-drivingshifting is hard to pick up
