  • While I'd hate to think that I'm the only one watching this that has a sense of what the series truly means it would be worse to believe that .....seriously that's your Idea of Mike Havels bear killer flag??? It's like casper the ghost meets yogi the bear

  • The Bearkiller flag shown was downloaded from the SM Stirling website, as were all the other flags. Thanks for watching.

  • this is awesome. i had no idea there are so many dies the fire fans. thanks for filming your trip.

  • Fantastic videos. I live all the way across the country on Long Island and these vids along with the novels have really made me want to relocate my family to the Willamette. Probably won't happen, but if I ever make it to Nantucket you can be sure I'll take some videos of Rudy's visit to the island.

  • wow, you REALLY enjoyed the series.. i did too :) its nice to put a picture to the locations i've been reading about for the last couple of years.. are you going to film a trip to Nantucket plotting Rudi's fellowship's (as Mary and Ritva called it) exact points of interests? that would be a great undertaking.

  • This is great stuff man, I'm surprised to see you're the only person (I've found) that did this. It's a great alternate world to explore and it's nice to be able to see what the places actually look like and add in the fortified Duns and Strategic hamlets. Keep it up!

    Hakkaa Päälle!

  • @Dpaladinx Yes it is. I'd love to see a TV series or movie series. It would easily be an undertaking the size of LoTR.

  • A few days ago, I had thought of going to Nantucket during the summer to relate the first S.M. Stirling book I had read (Island in the Sea of Time) to the actual island as it is in our time. I wonder if this guy has made a video tour like that yet?

  • I heard about the Emberverse series. Is it about when civilization collapse due to some sort of EMP like effect spread across the world that shut down electricity, guns, explosives, combustion engines, etc. stop working at the instant. What would S.M. Stirling would think of a TV series/movie/anime/manga adaption of the series?

  • I love the videos i plan on taking a similar tour at some point!

  • love those books peshwar lancer i thought was really good
