ryan, can you give me the exact values of other knobs on api 527?the threshold, attack,release, etc pls? and most of the time, how much gain on mp500 nv, output cal on what position (oclock). thank you so much on the reply. you are indeed helping us starters!

@davince558 even if i gave you the exact values it may not be good for you. first, google compression and find out what each of the knobs do (attack, release, ratio, threshold, output / gain). Once you understand exactly what they do, you can start adjusting them towards your needs. I have it set on the fastest attack and a moderate release just so i can get rid of the peaks. my gain on the mp500nv is hitting 3-4 greens and yellow a few times. the output cal is in the middle for sheer balance
