Be Present Invites you!
To the National Convening on Race, Gender, Power and Class

September 25-28
Walker Creek Ranch, Petaluma, CA

Are you ready to learn an innovative Model to explore the issues of race, gender, power and class? You are invited to join us in a community of practice.

Thirty four women, girls, men and boys, who participated in Be Present's 18 month Training Institute on Race, Gender, Power & Class will host this Conference to share best practices on how to use the Be Present Empowerment Model to explore how the daily dynamics of race, gender, power and class affect us individually as we attempt to work collectively for social justice and systemic change.

Having incorporated the Be Present Empowerment Model into their own lives, the facilitators invite you to join us in creating an open forum in which to hold these conversations among people with a diverse range of class experiences, races, ethnicities, ages and abilities.

This event is open to women, men and transgender people of all ages. Invite the people in your life to be a part of this exciting event!

Space is limited.

Be Present believes that in order to create peace and justice for all people, it is everyone's responsibility to critically examine the impact of race, gender, power and class on the effectiveness of the social change movement. It is from this understanding that we can build better leadership models and create healthier systems that sustain us. We are in integral part of what must be changed.
