And why can't a landing ever be perfect?

I guess it's because he thinks perfection cannot be a human attribute, therefore...

Ok, I didn't realize it was short-field. Now I see it in the description too. However, no landing, even by pro's is "PERFECT" nothing and no one is EVER "PERFECT".
That's all

Ok NO landing, EVER is perfect. I know it is just a phrase, but no landing is "perfect". And you landed BEFORE the solid white blocks which are the touchdown points, look I do land before them too, but I dont claim to be perfect either. :D.

With the absolute definition you're using for the word perfect (no perfect landing EVER), we might is well strike it from english language. Also, the Touch Down Zone markings are not regulatory, especially when VFR. There is not even a requirement that a runway HAVE those markings (runways served by an instrument approach are a different issue). So I'm not sure why you feel that landing on or after them is so important?!?
