  • This made me cry. I've never heard of this prayer. My grandmother died this summer at age 95, and the priest actually compared her to St Francis.

    She spread light and hope around her, and she was loved by everybody, including animals. She could talk to cats and dogs and tame wild birds to eat from hear hands.

    I'm such a lucky person who had her as granny. Rest in peace, you angel of light.

  • Wonderful Video~! God Bless you & yours!Love, Don21

  • Thank You for sharing this with me....

  • A wonderful family named the Gattys gave me a framed Prayer of St. Francis for my 8th grade confirmation. It's one of the few things I brought with me from my childhood. It's hanging on my wall right now, right beside me.

    I don't like the catholic church, but I do love St. Francis of Assisi.

  • "..over and against the social thesis of war and violence that the Crusaders espoused, Francis placed his antithesis of peace and nonviolence. He was inspired to greet everyone with the words: ‘May the Lord give you his Peace’.

  • @gabrielized My Patron St. Francis of Assisi! of the Catholic Church of Clearfield

  • is this irish?

  • Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace.

    Where there is hatred, let me sow love;

    Where there is injury, pardon;

    Where there is doubt, faith;

    Where there is despair, hope;

    Where there is darkness, light;

    Where there is sadness, joy.

  • It skipped two lines

  • Alleluia!
