@ superninja13 the mindless ones are the ones that swallow the NDP and Liberal propaganda. you forget all of the corruption of the liberals and how they stole money from hard working Canadians and how the NDP almost destroyed Ontario, those 2 parties tried a take over of Canada (with the Bloq)and bypass the will of Canadians that voted Harper into office. Remember that more Canadians voted PC than the other parties put together and now we have a majority. The Canadian people have spoken.

@MatrixHolder Sorry I took so long to reply. It's not true that the PC's won the popular vote. They won with only 40% of the total popular vote, because in our system the party which wins the most seats(local ridings) wins. The NDP with Bob Rae(who now leads the Liberals federally), did put Ontario into debt. They also were in power during a deep recession in the early 1990s. Harper also wanted a coalition with the Bloc when it served his interests. It's common in a minority Parliament.

@dexterxyz (continued). Also the NDP's gains in the last election virtually killed the seperatist Bloc in Quebec. The ad sponsorship scandal for the federal Liberals happened during a time when we were frantically trying to keep Quebec from voting for seperation. They were trying to promote Canada within Quebec. This doesn't excuse it of course. The Liberals did balance the books, after they'd taken over from the Conservatives(who'd left us in huge debt), federally.

if the economy goes so well in Canada, it is not because of Stephen Harper, but, because of Paul Martin who pass a legislation for the banks. Harper wasn't able to liberalize the sector of banking, but I,m sure will try if he gain the majority.

Very dangerous man and I hope the Canadians wil see that.

He is nothing like that, he has done a great job as PM of Canada. Look how our economy is one of the strongest in the world right now during these hard economic times, look at the Canadian dollar now and where it was when the crooked Liberals were in charge of stealing our money, heaven help us if those NDP clowns get in... He is also trying to protect our northern borders...which is something no other PM has done before.
