  • Kauffman has got a fair number of haters here on YT.You may or may not like his technique but he is getting better and better and considering competition he is a leading tenor in the world now.You can not compare him to singers from the past, compare him to Cura,Villazon,Giordani,Flores.

  • Anna is a goddess, this is exquisite.

  • @Cissy97 Netrebko has 2,5 octave good notes up to D6 - this is necessary to sing Donizetti in correct way. Certain "famous" so called coloraturas have only 3-5 good notes near C6 and they substitute rest notes with vibratos and other tricks, so they can not even sing Lucia well.

  • Clearly the best tenor and soprano of their generation.

  • I always consider that Netrebko's real repertoire is Verdi, not Donizetti or Bellini.

  • Die arie zu langsam...schade..

  • Netrebko is divine!

  • Netrebko vs Kaufmann !0- 0

Preferisce voci rozze e artefatte?

  • @aragorn13308 of course, i l only found it funny to imagine Flórez as Lohengrin. i dont like these comments you mentioned too. in thirty years people will write that this or that famous future singer is nothing compared to Kaufmann, Hvorostovsky or Flórez. They might even be right:)))))

  • @eurydike Of course you can not compare legiero/lirico tenor with Kaufmann,I didn't mean it literelly. My point was directed towards compareing contemporary singers between them. What I'm trying to say is that I'm a bit alergic to coments like "Corelli did it so much better" etc.It is 21. century and let's enjoy some new great artists.

  • is somewhere di quella pira with Kaufmann?
