  • they are so good...

  • Apparently Franz Liszt was a synesthete, he saw colours when hearing tones. I wonder what colours he saw when he composed this?

This piece should be as well known as anything from Beethoven or Bach, it grabs you immediately. Liszt was the original rock star.

  • no way libetta is better and pace

  • Aha! especially on "Trick or treat" during a

full moon.........I have heard both superb works and, it's a very close call! The artist either has huge hands like Rachmaninoff or elastic stretchable hands..to capture the full spectra of tones and technical demands of the composers.

    T. Kornisch

  • "piece" or "work" would be more appropriate than "song" in reference to this

  • WOW!! so amazing!!! magnificent!!

    Too spooky music!! hehehehehe!!

i'm juzt curious, which is more difficult: "Totentanz(Liszt)" or "Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini(Rachmaninoff)"

pls. reply to those who are concerned!!

    thnx!!

  • I've heard a lot of players interpret the "Todtentanz," and Shippee is in the forefront.

  • Great artist, song, and player.

  • Joe Shippee is a great pianist and don't you ever forget it!
