  • you may have escape one loop, but the fact that you bursted means you can't make ANY mistakes at all, otherwise it's a guaranteed ko

  • lol@ people whining about the clap trap. Hope you realize, not only do they have to know how to do this, they have to set it up TWICE to kill with it. Hi2u barrier burst.

    Also, Tager and Hakumen (and maybe other chars) have combos that do 9.5k+ damage on Carl. Ban those too? (Fyi that's a one hit kill).

  • Everyone: throw break use burst to escape

    Rachel:throw break use wind to escape(you can wind during throw break lol)

    Hakumen: throw break use counter to escape

    Ragna:throw break Inferno divider, rapid cancel escape.

  • good players do nirvana loops in a such a way it will only use 60% nirvana life on tager.

    Barrier burst yep.

    don't count on your oppenents messing up.

    doing correct time throw breaks are a bit of your oppenent is bad and your guessing which loop he is going for next, certain loops you can't do this but you drain nirvana life faster but even then again unless your tager you will not have this amount of life so it will not matter anyways.

    Also bad parts rachel/haku(lol wind/counter= free escape)

  • Well, It'll take a very long time for carl to set this up or even land a hit. Theoretically, no character should get stuck in this thing becuase his move set sucks. the carl player reads his opponent or does something the opponent couldn't read. This would be broken if carl had a decent move set, but it's really the opponents fault for fuckin' up.

  • This is a move that forces you to use your Barrier Burst and use it at the right time, because if done right it is unescapable other wise. You throw escape and the doll just sends you right back into it. It's annoying as hell because once executed it makes this into a 1 player puzzle game for the carl player.

  • Been trying to get this for a few days now. Harder than people seem to think, one of the major issues with it is where the throw actually takes place. You have to make sure most characters are right against Nirvana's head, being the only thing keeping Carl from dashing right under his opponent when trying to repeat. With each character having its own weight and fall properties, learning it on one does not help when trying to learn it on others. 3C(22d)->Jxx->2D/alacan-2C is a bitch to pull off

  • wow, quite repetitive isn't it.

  • I still think you're better off with Throw Escape. At least then the Carl has to put more effort to starting the attack. You may or may not get clapped but that Carl has get back into the fray.
