where did samantha go? she went away and i have nellie and i reely hope i get chrissa !! i NEVER got a girl of the year i wanted Nicki. it said kirsten is leaving ag..is that what happened with samantha? cuz in the 2007 catalog she weas there. did she leave in 2008..?

yes she is gone. sadly they retire american girl dolls to make room for new ones... they retired samantha for the new doll rebecca

okay I need to tell you guys something.....

well when i was 6 i got my first doll then i grew out of her then when i was 9 i watched this video and i made me realize how much i miss dolls so for you to just upload this video i am so happy because if u didn't upload this i would of never gotten into dolls again. I knew about AG BOOKS, but not the dolls in 2008 and the in 2010 I discovered the dolls and I wanted Julie so I asked my parents if we could see my dad's side of the family inLA and we had a fun time visiting LA, but the best part was... we went to the AG place and my dad bought Julie for me!!! I still LOVE julie!!! I would recommend her any day. ;)
