i read the book before i watch the show bit disappointed about the ending of the show cos they change the ending complete

Actually if you saw my earlier comment about Douglas Henshall's role in this, I actually felt rather sorry for him playing this sadistic role for I think in real life, he probably comes over as a really kind and compassionate man, especially in the recent Shetland film. It was completely out of character and I just hate to think how he really must have felt as he loves children

I actually felt rather sorry for him as he is not at all the sort of person he played. He comes over a a kind, compassionate sort of man, the kind I would have loved to have met. He also, although he does not know it, shares the same misgivings about Scottish Independence as I do. - a very bad mistake on the part of Alex Salmond if he wins, heaven forbid for I am also part Scottish, well with a name like Fiona and my surname being Johnston
