sample player using arduino

Finished version will have multiple buttons for choosing samples and controlling playback. The pot seen here changes the sampling rate, so it can get some great bitcruncher style effects.

i don't use a computer to make music. :)

the whole point of building a sample player with the arduino is to have a simple, non-computer way of doing basic sample playing, and without buying a thousand dollar sampler with too many features.

arduino is very cool, though recently i've been more into building a multi-synth... check out the newest video i posted - bad quality video, but you can hear what i'm up to.

wouldn't you be able to utilize more functionality when you would hook the arduino up to a computer? instead of storing audio on a flash card

nice work though, been wanting to make something with the arduino, nice kits :) But it all seems a bit daunting at first glance.
