There is a MG 260 ZT-T ( Estate / Station Wagon) for sale now in the USA, It went out there back in 2003/2004 so Roush could do some work on making a Supercharger for the MG ZT385. ( Check out my Video Bainzi385) The car is standard spec 4.6 ltr with flip paint but as its the only one in the USA, its a very rare car.

I've just learned of these cars, and I want one. Sadly, I'm American, and frustrated that the only 4.6 family car I can get is the Ford Crown Victoria, Which is 1: gigantic and 2: hideous to look at. The MG in comparison is quite good looking and well proportioned. I've been building high performance 4.6 engines since 1996. It's interesting to find new places where they've found homes. If these MG's perform like my mustang did, I'm sure they've got to be a hell of a lot of fun..

@montey1017 It's 260hp stock and 300ish lbft torque.. Going on a conversion of 61ci a litre, it gives 280.6ci. . I'd love one of the Rocket IIIs, they've got about 140hp and very similar torque, so I'd imagine that it would "get down the road" well.. :)
Too true on all the back biting between folk. What does it matter that someone doesn't like a V8 and would rather have a 6, for example. We face the same issues with our hobby and I love anything with wheels that's well put together.

@GingerPhilG I believe it's 260 CID, and I guess your right, ford isn't my thing, but I know alittle bit about the engines, DOHC (after fixing a few bent pushrods, I can respect this) Triumph is a good company, I would probably take a triumph over a same-year harley, with a few exceptions.
your welcome for the respect, I really don't see why people hate other people because they dont like what they like...we are all gearheads, lets come together and help eachother...

@montey1017 It's a Ford Mustang V8 displacing 4.6 litres (280ci?) so despite being "small", it's an American Engine ;). Also - Triumph (british bike manufacturer) have built a Motorcycle called the Rocket 3 with a 2.3 litres (140ci) 3 cylinder motor.. If you want to see what the Brits can do with a big motor then look up Red Victor 3 and Andy Frost :) Thanks for the respect though mate - makes a change

one thing I have noticed is people in the UK work with a LOT less displacement than we do here...I couldn't find you a 1 liter vehicle if I tried, even the motorcycles have 1200cc twins...and, if you try to find massive displacement, you can easily find a 7.5 liter oldsmobile for (about 1000 pounds) look at my channel...
it is really impressive the numbers you get out of these engines, imagine if they did this to a 'big' engine

I really hope one day they bring the 75 back to the UK (even if it's in a box from China) and they just bring the V8 version back with a Rouge Supercharger.
The 75 V8 was British 'shed; engineering at it's best.

@Funboymark No not that much roughly about 12-15mpg depending in the S/C and the intercooler... Get some idea's of what S/C to go for and who you should get to do it!!!
-
@sw1000xg Agreed, i just want to know if my 20mpg is gonna go down to 8 if i fit a SC
-
@Funboymark People who think about Co2 and MPG are the most BORING people on the planet!!! They don't care about cars... Only how they can get the kids to school, and to work, and there health spa, and eco meetings! I am all for saving the rain forests and all that but let the scientists worry about MPG/Co2, and let us have fun in some great cars!!! MPG in this should be around 15mph...
ITS made very little diff still around 22mpg before and after
