"The House Guest" Official Description:
A NIGHT OF CONFESSIONS — Katherine's (Nina Dobrev) mind games are getting on everyone's nerves, but Damon (Ian Somerhalder), Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) realize that her knowledge of Mystic Falls history will help them stay alive. Frustrated with her relationship with Matt (Zach Roerig), Caroline (Candice Accola) finds a new way to get his attention. Alaric (Matt Davis) makes a surprising confession to Jenna (Sara Canning), and Katherine makes a different kind of confession to Damon. Stefan and Bonnie (Katerina Graham) try to convince Jonas (guest star Randy Goodwin) and Luka (guest star Bryton James) that they should all be working together, but Jonas' lack of trust leads to a violent and fiery confrontation. Steven R. McQueen also stars. Michael Katleman directed the episode written by Caroline Dries (#216).

as the excecutive producer said: this show will always be centered on stefan and elena. i am COMPLETELY sure they will please all delena fans out there one way or another but in the end you cant never ever replace true love, the love that stefan and elena share. the show will be totally ruined if they decided to leave damon and elena as a steady couple. i LOVE damon and i want him to be happy. he deserves someone who will truly love him, and not someone who wants to change him. STELENA 4EVER!!

@anagabs942 You are right in every way. It is hard to erase the bond Elena and Stefan. Besides the second reason why I think Delena will never happen is because of the reputation of Elena. Her jumping to the other brother will totally ruin her. Not only would she been seen as a slut - we are in a world where women are SO EASILY judged - but also hated for ruining the relationship of Damon/Stefan. It is one thing to break two peoples heart, but to ruin a family's bond... THAT GOES WAY TO FAR....
