The news needs to make more stories like this.

A good public service you did posting this. And good luck to them! Any updates?

Why isn't this on my local news? I hoped many people adopted a cat after seeing this video.

Wow - I remember hearing this - we headed over there with a trunkload of food! - I went in and saw the cats - they were so cute! - I understand the problem - but I am a bit dissapointed more advice wasn't given on TNR practices - I know there are a lot of us around Philly who trap, and do rescue work. Check out my channel - see some of our efforts and laugh at some kitty escapades!

I'm from Philly too. In the NE in Normandy, me and 2 other women fixed all the ferals in the area. One tom cat left to go!

Good for you! - Were there many large colonies or just small scattered ones? Rescue work is so rewarding ...

Small colonies scattered BUT there were many little ones! One feral I trapped & ear tipped last May slowly "domesticated" himself. Tony now lives with me. (-:

I love when ferals slowly turn - many of my "barn babies" are slowly becoming more domesticated - actually they are totally happy being indoors - but it has taken some of them a long time to get used to me - and some still don't let me touch them - even though I can stand right next to them (or vacuum right next to them!)

Out of my 15 cats, 6 were former ferals. It's such a nice feeling when you can touch them for the first time. My Dexter rides on my shoulder!
