Little-known fact; Ann has always had a weight problem and used to starve herself just to keep her weight down. She used to be teased about her weight as a child. During their comeback, she'd gained weight, and the record company and her bandmates began to pressure her to lose weight. She's said she started suffering from stress-related panic attacks due to this negative publicity over her weight. I just thought I'd share this because she is a beautiful person, inside and out.

I love Heart. I don't care if people classify this as trashy white music. This is one of the greatest bands ever. Anyone else see Geddy Lee's face in this videos thumbnail? Interesting but I know a band had covered a Rush song and I was thinking it was Heart and "Closer to the Heart" or some other Rush song. Does anyone remember that or was it another band? back in the 80s.

Nancy does have a beautiful voice, and it would have been nice if she'd sung more often. (Check out Nancy on These Dreams and Mona Lisas & Mad Hatters from Alive in Seattle.) Obviously they decided Ann would be the lead singer, probably b/c Ann's more powerful voice is more suited to most of their material.
