  • i was there, it was really scarry!! were the riders ok???

  • Yes, Everyone was fine including Ribbon. The next day all went perfect. That's the first time we have ever had a problem in vaulting.

  • We know vaulting is incredibly safe. We do not blame the horse we blame US. Our vaulters chose to go back on the next day and finish the show.

  • We do not know what happened. First the music stuck, then the wind started howling. It was also raining, not hard but it was terribly cold. We think she saw something, startled, then panicked. The second and third fall was because the lunge line was caught in her legs. The vaulters went on to perform on Sunday and Ribbon, the horse was perfect.

  • That horse is a freaking superstar. Gotta love draft breeds eh? Didn't freak out half as bad as he could have. It could've been so much worse.

  • It could be that the draw rein type thing freaked the horse out when it lifted its head up it freaked out and felt trapped because he couldnt move his head

  • What happend, why did he juts collaps ?

  • This is a perfect example of why so much training and spook-proofing goes into making a successful vaulting horse. I know things happen, but this just proves how dangerous it can be and why such even-tempered horses are chosen.

  • omg most scary thing ive ever seen! what happened did the horse spook or something!

  • why in the world are you using a Liverpool curb bit? You should never lounge a horse using a curb let alone using the slots any where near the most severe. That horse had no way of getting away from the curbs action when he extended his neck.

  • @horseluva765 sure

  • what kind of horse wwas that

  • @Flossie014 I understand what you are saying. Thankyou for replying in a nice way...I appreciate that very much. :-)
