I think having a gun should be mandatory.

If everyone had a gun, it would be kind of rough for about 6 months, but after that, we'd have a very, very polite society of good people.

Because I think there are more good people than bad people in the world, just that the bad people are more "expressive".

Besides, do we really need _more_ people on this planet?

If Guns were legal in Scotland it wouldn't be good.

Want to know why legal people should own guns? Just go to wikipedia(.com) and do a search on the Rwanda Genocide. If every Tutsi own guns then there wouldn't be around 800,000 Tutsi massacres -- since most were machete-hacked to death by the Hutu. Don't BAN gun -- just put restriction on mentally-ill people from getting them (and make sure the computer background check system is running).
