"On the 14th July a few homeless students in Tel-Aviv set-up tents on (of all places) Rothschild Blvd, to protest against the government's economic policies.
Since then the protests have mushroomed and spread-out all over the country, with massive strikes, marches and a continuous carnival.
There isn't much coverage of this and mainstream media seems at a loss, so I've compiled a collection of clips off youtube, primarily as a way for me to make some sense of what looks like a massive grass roots reaction to Bibi Netanyahu's government.
