@captainate At some points the lead singer sounds kind of clipped and his s-sounds are very weird. Not natural. The ladies sound fine though. I would at least try a microphone that is more forgiving on sharp sounds, like a good ribbon microphone. I do not pretend that I know which one without having heard the singers in real life. I just describe what I hear and do not like. Maybe it would just be a matter of the settings in postproduction.

@captainate If there is nothing to mix and it still sounds crap I would suggest a different microphone. Not sure though that there was no post-production on this song. It sounds processed. Singers are probably great as I don't expect anyone to sound like this in reality.
