A filmmaker is determined to prove that yoga can transform anyone. Her plan: select a subject, immerse him in yoga and follow him until he finds a practice that transforms him. Her subject: Nick Rosen a skeptical, 29 year-old journalist living in New York City. Before he can say OM, Nick finds himself twisted up like a pretzel surrounded by celebrity yogis, true believers, kooks and entrepreneurs. The more he investigates yoga the more contradictions he discovers, straying further from Kate's plan. They circle the globe talking to mystics, gurus, mad men and saints searching for the true meaning of yoga, encountering things they never could have imagined. They don't find the answers to their questions, they find much more. www.enlightenupthefilm.com

  • My Uncle Norman is awesome! He teaches yoga in Hawaii and is seen in this trailer stating that twisting one's self into a pretzel doesn't have any thing to do with enlightenment! Love you Norman! Carrie Allen

  • I saw this movie pre-release. All I can say is: see it, see it, see it! It was fascinating, funny, uplifting and real. Not just for followers of yoga, but for anyone who has pursued a winding spiritual, intellectual or personal journey. And it doesn't hurt that Nick is super cute.

  • I love this documentary. Nick was such a perfect choice. His expressions alone were enough for me. I never buy movies, but this one I want to have to share with others.

  • Excellent documentary, a reflection of life while learning about yoga. Kate achieves enlightenment! because she shows us how different we are and yet how similar we are all - the only thing that matters in the end is that we are happy, no matter how we get there. I believe Kate and Nick are happier people because of their struggles, and i enjoyed the honesty this film carries. I think this documentary is brilliant: honest, interesting, educational, intelligent, real. Thank you Kate.

  • Nick is handsome! Show more!

  • @carriereignbeaux your uncle looks like a kool guy.

  • I hope he does some Ganja in this...in a sacramental way of course.

  • what's the title of the song??

  • This movie could have been so much better without Nick Rosen ... poor vetting by the director although it's still a fun movie and would recommend it.

  • gREAT!

  • diamond dallas page really?

  • Very interesting movie! Gave me some answers for questions i always want to ask but could't find the right people around.
