@lester5192 From what it sounds like, they were both sleeping and were shot point blank, for no reason. Him having a gun would have made no difference.
I do agree that a person should arm themself for protection, though. Personally, I always carry a .38 S & W special (snub nose) for protection, but I do realize that it is still possible for someone to kill me, if I am caught off guard.
