In addition to turning this former woodie into a steel hybrid coaster, the height was increased by 10 feet (153 feet) & the drop was made steeper (79 degrees), which also boosted the top speed to over 65 mph. But the best new features are the over-banked turns (up to 95 degrees).

  • That is the smoothest lift hill i've ever seen.

  • holy shit

  • I've ridden this too many times to count and is probably my favorite ride ever OMG I love it<333

  • on a 1 to 10 scale, how intense is this coaster (1 being eh, 10 being OMGWTFBBQ)

  • This is what needs to be done to fix Son of Beast at Kings Island. It needs to be done and add the Loop back and re-open that ride. Cedar Fair, Do this please!!

  • @GoldenPortaPotty They still do.

  • @DEATHbutler13 No, you have to sneak them on, and if you get caught, you're likely to be ejected from the park. I've had to call security on people twice for recording while riding.

  • @BlueNinjaTiger Smoothest coaster in the park, much more so than JRS. Even sitting int the very back seat gives you a smoother ride than any other.

  • @FlyinPotatoMan They don't. Handheld recorders aren't allowed on any ride in the park besides the steam train. It's for insurance purposes. The videos authorized by SFoT are mounted to the coaster train. I stood in line for what seemed like forever while they mounted the cameras when they had employees come ride so they could film television spots and news stories.
