The 2012 TDI Passat Challenge shows off the new 2012 TDI going from San Jose to L.A. and back on one tank of diesel! Social Media Director, Tiki Tsakiris and Videographer/Editor, Sean M Williams; embarked on an epic road trip, to test the MPG boundaries of the new 2012 VW Passat TDI. They were able to travel over 700 miles, from San Jose to Hollywood and back on one tank of diesel fuel! The brand new 2012 VW Passat TDI will be available to purchase this fall. Enjoy the Ride!

All I see here is an awesome car being driven on the beach, followed by it's fuel pump being run dry - YIKES don't sell me a car :-p

@dgdgtv I drove down there on December 28th, 2011. I actually was going to Los Angeles for the New Years...I filled up in Bakersfield drove to LA stayed until the 1st then drove back to Portland. With 3 tanks of Diesel I did it all...I drove in LA quit a bit..The secret is your foot...Light foot = lots of miles...
