Amazing. I've never heard their music before, and have run thru all the videos on YT (audios are next). Aside from their charm, naturalness and good looks, their harmonies are so interesting, and (I'm guessing) an influence on the Byrds and Harry Nilsson (those falsetto breaks, esp. on 'Deep Purple'). And this one has that Wrecking Crew rhythm. Well, my late appreciation proves that their music holds up very well. And their newer videos sound great, too.

Hot stuff.

The song is great, just like "All Strung Out". But has anyone noticed just how easy these two are on the eyes? I have seen many performance videos from the 60's in my time and I don't think I have ever seen a couple that looks this good. Usually there is a hot female and a less-than-hot male companion (think Sonny & Cher, for example). But this dude is like something you would see out of GQ magazine. He's got incredible looks and a great body. This team really had it all.

Does anyone know where I can buy a CD version of Sea of Love/Docking of the baby. I only have my UK 45.
The two performances on Lloyd Thaxton are superb. Wow. Thank goodness for Youtube!
The new UK ACE/Kent CD is wonderful. Playing it now.

Maybe eventually there'd be a DVD version coming out. I noticed there is a 20 disc DVD set of 'Shivaree' alone about recently. There's recording companies that specialize in CD 'Greatest (complete recordings on most if not all they come out with) Hits' of vocal artists going back to the fifties if not the forties one never hears of nowadays: Like Susan Maughan, Billie Davis, Mary Ann McCall type, etc. It's possible.

I just wish all these performances of the Lloyd Thaxton show be combined on a DVD. This rare find is priceless and wish our young musicians who are coming up in the recording industry watch these performances and learn from them. These two was the great singers of our time.

This comprised one half of one of the most perfect singles ever made! Their album on White Whale was equally superb.

How about this rather unusual type of comment ? I had to read it twice to see what he meant. I'm rather
flattered that someone else feels like we do. Could you please thank him and relay that I really like the way he worded it. Some very nice comments of late, eh what? I'm very pleased. Nino
