Blessings: This is a call for fervent prayer. Connie, a new volunteer, has befriended a Chinese couple who operate a local restaurant. Their 18 month old is in China with Karen's mother. They have been trying to save enough money to bring the baby here. Their dilema is now intensified - Karen and Kevin just found out they are expecting a third child. Karen can't see any options for herself. She is not a US citizen yet, but her husband ,Kevin, is. They went to the Health clinic who tells them that they can't provide any assistance as she is not a US citizen. If she returns to China to have the baby, she fears they will force her to have an abortion because of the one child policy. This is a multi faceted problem. They are Buddhist but they are leaning toward becoming Christian from the influence of Connie and her husband. . No matter what religion we profess or don't profess - there is regret involved with abortion - no matter race or creed. Please pray for this couple who are suffering with severe material difficulties at this time as well. Their temptation is great. Please pass the word on to all prayerful peoples on your list. Thanks.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A pastor from a Deliverance Church stopped to talk. He asked for a brochure to place in his bulletin about 40 Days for Life. Please pray for his congregation to come and join us in prayer.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We also heard someone on Father Benedict Groeschel's Sunday evening program on EWTN, asking people to sign up for an hour of prayer at their local abortion facility either as an individual or as a family. It seems 40 Days for Life is being promoted as another prolife avenue of activity. Praise God.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Donald is feeling braver about asking total stangers to sign up for an hour of prayer at the Whole Woman's Health. The young man, a college student, said "I would like that very much".

The people closest to you in your life will be all the more affected by your testimony about this cause. Our 40 days for Life group is not a "crowd" but rather - individuals with their own unique footprints of the pages of their own life -- unique with their own special calling from the Lord to do His work. Trust is the foundation of prolife work. Someone we love and who loves us, will be more inclined to listen than someone unknown to us. Just having someone to lean on that they trust is all it takes to help keep someone on course for life. And praying is the best "trustful" thing to do for someone facing a crisis.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We are discerning that the abortion facility is scheduling abortions in late hours after 7PM. This leads us to believe that our presence is hurting their "money business". So, we are in need of men to come and pray after 7PM for candlelight vigils. Perhaps, some Knights of Columbus men could come and pray as a group against the evil of abortion. In Charleston, SC, all of their Knights of Columbus groups from the different Catholic churches took turns praying through the nights. In SC, they had 24 hours a day prayer vigils in front of the Charleston abortion center. We pray that our Knights of Columbus groups might could come on board and join us to pray from perhaps 7PM till 10PM. Please pray for this.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Meditation: Time is our most valuable asset. With time, we can pray and prayer can move mountains, save lives, and rebuild broken lives hurt by sin - the worst sin of all - the evil of abortion. But with enough time, even the scars of abortion can heal. We also offer after care abortion counseling phone numbers for any woman leaving the facility. And we promise to pray for them. Only love can turn the acts of hatred against life into love of life. Please pray for all of us who come here to pray that we remain in God's love. In Christ for Life, Eileen XXXXXXX

  • @LittoMoonLight Shhhh. I know it doesn't make sense. Neither does being able to afford a round trip ticket to China and not a hospital birth in Texas....

    Plus there's always asylum....

Or presenting your PR status as being married to a citizen that you get after filling in the appropriate I-forms. Legal green cards should grant clinic access...

  • in china you can have more then one child if you are married to a foreigner.
