Filmed yesterday around 4 o'clock. 20-30 ft. waves were expected along the coast, and boy did they deliver.
Sorry for the crappy lighting, filming, etc. I knew the conditions weren't very good, but I still wanted to give a general idea of what it was like.
Too bad you can't get a sense of scale from the video. About 2 mins. into the video is probably the biggest wave that I filmed, but certainly not the biggest I saw in the hour I was there. After that wave crashes you can barely see a bird struggling to get out of the way.
Also, that low rumbling that can be heard at times isn't the wind...that's the sound of the waves crashing against the rocks! It was definitely much louder in person.
I love Morro Bay, it is an awesome town and great food. Central Coast is awesome.

This had to be at low tide, because there is too much of the rocks showing to be high tide in Morro Bay. I lived there all my life and never saw that much of the breakwater.

I like your video. I just love the ocean sound and the waves. Not a bad video at all. I love the lighting. The waves are awesome. I live in the High Desert. AppleValley. My Husband and I's car isn't very reliable right now. I would love to go to the Beach. Soon I hope. :-)
