Reduce MIG Shielding Gas Use by 40 to 60% while Improving Weld Start Quality. This inexpensive patented device is easy to install and has no moving parts. Thousands are in use in industrial fabricators saving million of dollars each year!
A fabricator testing the system reported welding 632 identical parts with one cylinder of gas where they were with one cylinder they previously were only able to weld 236 of the exact same part with the same welding conditions and gas flow setting. There are 14 fabricator testimonials with their gas savings test results on our web pages. Small shop and home user testimonials are also shown.
The system provides enough extra gas at the start to purge the weld start area and it maintains pressures above 25 psi needed to keep present flow settings while restrictions occur such as spatter buildup and bent torch cables while welding.
Past attempts at controlling start gas surge used devices mounted at the feeder which eliminated the extra gas needed to purge the weld start area and torch nozzle of air or low pressure devices which eliminated "Automatic Flow Compensation" built into MIG and TIG flow control systems since the introduction of these welding processes! It takes a minimum of 25 psi to achieve this very important feature. This patented device has neither problem. Welders appreciate the starting benefits of our GSS and are not limited in their ability to control the steady state flow with their existing standard flow control.
