@vashon100 Yes, but he doesn't hope the government will screw up, he KNOWS they will. ;) He just hopes people will be smart enough to invest in gold stocks so he can make money from them. He does not hope people will lose money, but unfortunately that's what's going to happen when the bubble is inflated.

@TWSceptic hope vs predicting..... there's a distinction. One is fate the other is a negative selfish outlook. As in, I predict he'll get hit by a truck vs I hope he gets hit by a truck. Hope that helps.

@vashon100 How is that an economic disaster? It's only a reaction to a economic disaster! People buy gold and gold stocks because they lose trust in the dollar, and the economy. Doug is a speculator and although he recognizes to mistakes of government that cause economic disaster, he is smart enough to capitalize on them. Nothing wrong with that. And nothing wrong with hoping to capitalize on a bubble either. That's how the free market reacts to stupid government policy. Hope this helps!
