@17DM well it depends. If the image stabilizer is activated, the chip inside is moving, to keep the image steady. That produces the rattle sound. When it's turned off you can still hear a very quiet sound that is coming from the shutter that is forced to be opened, i think. You can hear it in Live View mode as well. It's normal. After all it's one of the first DSLRs that were capable of recording HD Video, among the Nikon D90. So it's not perfect, but it does a darn fine job imo :)

@shakaama i got my set (including bag, bag, rechargable batteries and 4GB SDHC card) for around 500 euros. Tha cam itself is really easygoing and makes great photos. I like that you can save your Photos as Digital negative RAW files using the open standard Adobe DNG which i really prefer over the Pentax PEF format. It also saves DNG files AND a JPEG file for instant view. For still shots, this came is amazing. Especially when you use older lenses using an adapter (like M42 mount)

how much is this camera and how good is it with still photos? I need an all in one camera.

@NandoZen420 Thanks :D
Yeah, that's because of the magneto optical image sensor stabilizer inside the camera.
The Nikon D90 looks pretty good aswell. After all it was one of the first DSLRs having a good videofunction. So i think they are both awesome :)

Pretty good image stabilization without the use of a steadycam or glidecam.

@Shift4g Absolutelly! In fact that is a camera feature that i REALLY apreciate. If you mount the camera onto a tripod for better holding grip and keeping it steady enough while walking you could really think the camera is mounted onto a steadycam. But that does even work when the camera is handheld. But the effect is stronger if the camera is mounted to a tripod.

Nice video :) You got some dust or someting on your lens/sensor up in the left corner. You can se it at 1:00 in the video.

@sladjan87 oh and it was the sensor. I did find out after a while and this kind of dust is like glued onto the sensor and there is even more. The downside of digital SLRs. Sensors are such incredible dust-collectors. :(
