2010 Škoda Yeti Vs. 2010 Škoda Superb Combi EuroNCAP Frontal Impact

A Škoda Yeti traveling at a speed of 90km/h hit a standing Škoda Superb Combi head on. Both cars were carrying four crash test dummies, with their seat belts fastened and secured with safety elements.

Although it was a different type of impact and a higher speed, the assessment methodology of the independent Euro-NCAP association was used to compare the stress on the occupants during the impact. In the various images it is clear how many points would be allocated in a car assessment account. 98.25% of possible points were achieved for the adult passengers sitting in the Superb Combi. It is the full number for the child passengers in the car -- 100%. The values for the Škoda Yeti were 99.94% for the adults and 93.19% for the children.

@MREURONCAP I dont think so because this is 0kmh Superb versus 90kmh Yeti. The superb is like deformable barrier here or i dont fully understand your approach here. The mass of the car is the same in both. The problem is that if they used 45kmh both cars going to each other it would depend on masses of both cars. It depends on mass of moving parts in this case than only Yeti weight.

Why anyone would get a Volkswagen over a comparable Skoda is beyond me .

Also consider the fact that skodas are also cheaper than VWs and are generally better looking from the front . Seriously all VWs look like vento from the front. Rear lighting on the other hand is arguably better on VW models but that is definitely not something I would pay an extra 5 Lakh for
