Derrida - Ghostdance

Ghost Dance is a complex examination of ideas about ghosts, memory and the past seen across the adventures of two women (Pascale Ogier and Leonie Mellinger) in Paris and in London. The film's intellectual centre is French theorist Jacques Derrida whose ideas about ghosts, being memories of a past that was never present, underline much of what happens on screen.
Writer-director Ken McMullen also draws upon anthropological studies of cargo cults, and explores the possibility that ghosts have been able to use electricity and electronics to expand their presence in the modern world.

Since the sous-titres do me no good, I am very thankful that he speaks very slowly, otherwise I wouldn't be able to understand him. I'm quasi-fluent in French.  Mlhrsmnt, je l'utilize comme il faut. :-( Oh and I think I know what Kafka book he's talking about. Which is great, because 20th c. lit is not my forte.
