This performance is the proof why Anette is favourite female singer! She's more than just amazing!!

@jean15june Tarja sucke when she was all over the place also, so I dont c the diff.
-
Is she being hurried? :O :D

For those who are less favorable of anette you should listen to the demo ever dream she sent to nightwish (the reason she was hired). Furthermore I have to add that her vocals are really nice if you listen some other songs of hers(invincible for example). I don't know why but nightwish never promote, the chords/notes/octave that truly fits her

@analikewhoa1 This concert which Anette's performance was a part of, was called "Suomi Safari", with many more or less famous Finnish artists. So there were definitely many Finns listening to this, that's why she said Kiitos. :))

Is it my imagination or is the conductor going at a slightly faster tempo? Poor Nettie sounds like she's being hurried (but still sings great).

@mofrakker To me it sounds like the orchestra begins at the normal tempo, then Anette goes a little bit too fast at 0:43 and the orchestra naturally follows her. But it's not a big deal and the performance is just awesome! :)

@Soyalecitin If that's the case, that's the orchestra's fault. Being in a band myself, I've always been told that the singer follows the band, not vice versa.

@GreenDay1981 I guess your band wasn't a symphony orchestra. :) Without a conductor this "band" could never change the tempo, but when there's one directing, they do whatever his baton says. If he follows the singer, "the band" does the same.
