In response to Google's RFI for Google fiber testing, Columbia, MO organized a grassroots display of support. Thousands of Google signs were shown at the Mizzou v. Kansas game on March 6th, 2010. Organized via text, Twitter, email and Facebook, Columbia showed why Google Fiber should call Como home.

  • How is that a flash mob? It's a sporting event, not a flash mob. And it wasn't organized for the purpose of pushing for Google Fiber, it just so happened that some people passed out Google signs.

  • wow i counted all five signs
