This video demonstrates two things - first how to make a Shepherds Crook Clasp & also how to hammer it (a technique which can be used with many wire projects)

  • might i ask what type of material ur jumpring is made of? is it sterling and if so is it dead soft? And if it is - may i ask where u purchased it? Thanks so much!!

  • The jump ring in this video was just a good quality silver plate but you could use sterling if you wanted. You can buy jump rings from bead or craft shops (or online).

  • Good afternoon. I really liked your lesson. I want to ask advice from you. What tools do you use. I am interested in round nose tool. I have my own, but they have a fat tip. I was looking for, but pictures can not show me the thickness of the tip. Help, please.

  • thanks for responding:) could u hammer any kind of sterling or does it need to be dead soft?
