The Driver (1978) Part 1 of 2

Chase clips from THE DRIVER. Professional driver is hired to "do the getaways" from cops right after a crime/robbery/etc is committed. In Part 1, he uses a Ford LTD in a getaway. Back in that time era, I'm guessing the cop cars of that body style might be able to come with an optional 440v8--(notice how damn quick they catch up to him a few times). Also in Part one he tears up a Mercedes showing off his driving skills to some thugs considering hiring him to drive. Later in Part 2 the driver is doing the chasing for a change, he is chasing the thugs from Part 1---who are driving a Pontiac.
