A couple of months ago the Austrian law student Max Schrems asked facebook to send him all their data stored about him. All Europeans have a right to do this. Because facebook is based in Dublin, Ireland. It took a while and then facebook sent Max a CD with 1222 PDF files. - Read more at http://www.taz.de/facebook-en

I deleted what it used to be (their) FB account on July 13 2010, I felt like when I quit smoking. FB is an addict a very bad addiction, because you "share" too much info. Good job Max.

@ebizmaster well you might be right, but i doubt that - i used facebook once, i have deleted my account, after a while FB really stopped spamming me with "come back" sh*t, but once i registered again (different name, age, sex, everything except ip), first contacts fb offered me as friends were actually people i knew. do not believe zuckerberg's a-team are nice guys who are deleting data so useful for making money.
